Electrostatic calculation of the mass difference
between the neutron and proton
(model of strongly quarks) |

All textbooks and monographs noted that the difference
between neutron and proton masses caused by electrostatic
(Coulomb) interaction, but the calculation of this interaction in
the literature. In the present study, in contrast to [3], in which the
quarks inside the nucleon treated as free particles, considered
strong (gluon) interaction, which does not allow quarks leave
nucleon. On the basis of the quark model of the nucleon Monte
Carlo calculated Coulomb assumption that if the quark is in
the area in which, where defines the beginning of the area in
which the gluon interactions included the probability of finding
a quark there is less than one. Proposed, more realistic model
of the quarks in the nucleon, yielded agreement between
the calculated and experimental value of the mass difference
between the neutron and the proton, and to assess the area in
which significant gluon interactions.
