Prokhorov Annotation << Back An application of silver nanoparticles in mineral waters for the treatment of gastroenteric path diseases and urine-secretory system K.K. Коshelev I.V. Staroverov M.G. Svistunov The article considers an application of silver-containing products (in particular, silver-containing water) for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic diseases, including of the gastrointestinal tract and urine-secretory system, food poisoning. A new generation of silver-containing products (such as bioactive additive «AgzhentA») based on nanoparticles of zero-valent metallic silver Ag0 was proposed. The nanoparticles of Ag0 (including AgzhentA) showed high stability, antimicrobial activity with low toxicity. In contrast to analogues, stability of the Ag0 nanoparticles allows them getting into the intestine in an active form, and effectively treat the illness. It is possible to produce with «AgzhentA» silvercontents mineral waters including at home.
