The beta-decay in the local symplectic symmetry
of elementary particles |

In the symplectic symmetry Sp(16) introduced earlier as a symmetry
group of the classical Hamiltonian equations of two
interacting material points, a subgroup is defined not mixing
particles with antiparticles and not changing the spin, which
is offered as a gauge group. Physical interpretation of the
gauge group operators is given and the mechanism of symmetry
breakdown, consisting in equalization of the quark color
charge by the gluon or other quarks color charge which leads
to the occurrence of atomiclike structures describing flavour
quarks and leptons, is offered. These structures’ via orbital
moment excitation generates families of particles, and shortrange
interaction between strong and weak interactions is
explained by screening of the colour charge – similar to how
the screening of the atomic nuclear charge by electrons transforms
long-range electromagnetic interaction into the shortrange
chemical one. For verification within the framework of
this scheme the relation of constants of axial and vector current
in the beta-decay was calculated, which gave excellent agreement
with experimental results.
