Prokhotsky This paper represents an overview of the sustainable development of Russian innovation economy. The paper is written in a unified tutorial fashion and based on the experience of the author gained while working as a head of the Scientific Coordination sector of All-Russian Exhibition Center «Science and Education », and as Academic Secretary of organizational and program committees of the first Moscow innovative exhibitions. One the main ideas of the paper is globalization in the sustainable development of Russia’s innovation economy. As an example of such globalization, the launch of the Global Venture Alliance (in corporation with the innovative companies of Silicon Valley, USA) operations in Russia, approved and supported by the leaders of the country, is discussed. The glossary is presented in the beginning of the article. The article is divided into three sections: (1) general problems of innovation and sustainable development, (2) implementation of effective innovation and exhibition activities, (3) methodological techniques of the organization of specialized innovation (engineering) center.
