Some poss ible applications
of long afterglow phosphors |

In this work, the comparative study of spectral and inertial properties
of various long afterglow phosphors has been performed
that resulted in discovery of photophosphors suitable for wide
range of applications. In this research, the particular attention
has been paid to long afterglow photophosphors possessing
the ability to emit light for quite long time in dark without external
power supply, just due to accumulation of solar energy
in day light. These materials can be applied for purposes in extraordinary
situations and also for ecological and agricultural
applications. Novel physical and chemical methods of preparations
of photophosphors powder materials based on acoustoplasma
technique of preparation of precursor raw material
with subsequent sintering to achieve the maximum value of the
quantum yield.
