Yunevich Possibility of an effective power output of the radiation produced by an active FET-based log-periodic antenna into the substrate integrated waveguide is investigated. Proposed design is modeled using the 3D-Transmission Line Matrix method. Distribution of the electromagnetic field energy density in the substrate is calculated. The results of numerical calculations are compared with data of the experimental measurements for the real active antennas.
